Warszawa to miasto legend! Któż nie słyszał o złotej kaczce, zamieszkującej piwnice na Starym Mieście albo o tajemniczej syrenie, którą wciąż można spotkać w Wiśle? Teatr Lalka zaprasza do obejrzenia wybranych, najpiękniejszych legend w kameralnym wydaniu. Aktorzy, ożywiając lalki – przedmioty codziennego użytku, przypomną nasycone cudownością opowieści – po części prawdziwe, po części zmyślone. Rodzime i bliskie sercu baśnie zostały zapisane piękną polszczyzną przez Artura Oppmana. Zachęcą młodsze dzieci do twórczej zabawy, zaś starszym pozwolą zachwycić się melodyjnością słowa i sposobem narracji.

LEGENDS OF WARSAW

Warsaw is the city of legends! Everybody has heard about the golden duck from the cellars of the Old Town or a mysterious mermaid that inhabits the depths of the Vistula River. We invite to experience the chosen, most beautiful tales in an intimate setting. The puppets made of objects of everyday use are animated by actors who let us revisit those fantastic stories, partly real and partly imaginary. Our beloved legends were beautifully written in Polish by Artur Oppman. They will encourage younger spectators to play creatively, at the same time allowing the older ones to enjoy the melody of the language and means of narration.
